Luhansk Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities Expands Partnership to Promote Accessibility and Inclusion

The Luhansk Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities continues to strengthen partnerships aimed at creating a more accessible and inclusive environment.

A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the Luhansk Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities.

The Memorandum provides a framework for joint efforts to implement the national barrier-free policy, promote accessible environments, and support persons with disabilities and other people with reduced mobility.

As part of the cooperation, the parties will work together to:

• implement barrier-free principles in local communities;
• organize joint events, round tables, training sessions, and consultations;
• promote inclusive education, employment opportunities, and social services;
• develop and implement joint projects and programmes;
• exchange experience, methodological resources, and best practices;
• prepare proposals to improve mechanisms for ensuring accessibility and inclusion.

This partnership marks another important step in strengthening cooperation between civil society and public authorities to build a society where equal opportunities are not merely declared, but become part of everyday life.

Together, we are working to make accessibility and inclusion the standard for every resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
