The First Training in Ukraine on Countering Technology-Facilitated Violence
Our colleague took part in Ukraine’s first specialized training on understanding, identifying, and countering technology-facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV). Over the course of two days, participants explored today’s digital safety challenges, learned to recognize emerging forms of online violence, and became familiar with practical tools for supporting survivors. For the Luhansk Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (LAAOI), participation in trainings like this is an important opportunity to strengthen our team’s expertise and integrate modern approaches into our work to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. We sincerely thank the International Rescue Committee (IRC) for organizing this important training and for providing the opportunity to contribute to the development of safer digital environments and stronger standards for online safety.

This partnership marks another important step in strengthening cooperation between civil society and public authorities to build a society where equal opportunities are not merely declared, but become part of everyday life. Together, we are working to make accessibility and inclusion the standard for every resident of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
