Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, together with our italian partners, our organization has organized the evacuation of families from various regions of Ukraine to friendly Italy.
At the moment, our Ukrainian women have successfully adapted to the new conditions and are eagerly ready to help families in need of support.
In several regions of Italy, active mothers have already organized public organizations that operate in different spheres of life. In order for this work to be as useful as possible, we made an introductory visit to the southern regions of Italy, in particular to Reggio Calabria and the province of Salerno. The goal of the trip was to study the conditions in which families with children with disabilities, who found shelter during the war in Ukraine, are living.
During the visit, the head of LAAOI, Mykola Nadulichnyi, met with representatives of the local community and business, where ways of development and opportunities to expand support for Ukrainians from Italy were discussed. This visit became an important step in cooperation between our countries and the development of public initiatives to provide assistance to those in need.
Thank you for the cooperation and warm welcome, Mama Diye, Kateryna Zhukova.
