Special transport for veterans with disabilities launched in Kyiv

Events

A new transport service has been launched in Kyiv for veterans with disabilities, as well as for defenders who have temporary mobility impairments after injuries or operations.

The service is based at the Kyiv Military Hub and is designed to provide barrier-free access to medical, rehabilitation and administrative institutions.

Special vehicles are equipped with lifts and adapted to transport people who use wheelchairs to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Who can use the service:

  • veterans with disabilities resulting from war
  • people with amputations or visual impairments
  • defenders with temporary mobility impairments after injuries or operations
