2025 for LAOI — a year of people, action and responsibility

  • A New Year greeting card featuring a snowy background with falling snowflakes and a decorated Christmas tree glowing with lights and topped by a golden star. On the left is the Ukrainian message “Happy New Year 2026!” Below it is a colorful logo with stylized human figures and the text “Luhansk Association of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities” and the acronym “LAOOI.” The scene conveys a warm, inclusive holiday spirit.
  • A collage of photos showing inclusive community activities. Images include people with disabilities and IDPs gathered around a table indoors, talking outdoors, receiving certificates in a classroom, and standing by a van labeled for inclusive transportation. On the right is a blue panel with a logo and Ukrainian text listing services: support for people with disabilities and IDPs, free inclusive transport, legal aid, accessibility training, and community project implementation. The collage highlights social inclusion and accessible services.
  • A collage with four photos on the left and a blue informational panel on the right. The photos show meetings, family interactions, and group activities involving people with disabilities. Ukrainian flags suggest the setting is in Ukraine. The right panel features the logo of the Ukrainian Association of Organizations of People with Disabilities (LADOI) and a list of focus areas: cooperation with international partners, local authority partnerships, housing adaptation, support for veterans, accessibility advocacy, civil society development, and inclusion awareness. The collage reflects active community engagement and support for vulnerable groups.

Events

2025 was a difficult year. But it proved once again that real change happens where there is teamwork, trust and faith in people.

Throughout the year, LAOPD focused on providing comprehensive support to people with disabilities, internally displaced persons and veterans. We provided social, psychological and legal services, ensured free inclusive transport and implemented projects directly in communities.

At the same time, we worked with local authorities and international partners, trained specialists in the principles of accessibility and consistently advocated for accessibility and equal opportunities — not just in words, but in practice.

Behind every project are people.

Specialists, volunteers, partners, communities.

And above all, those for whom we work every day.

We sincerely thank each and every one of you who stood by LAOPD in 2025.

For your trust. For your support. For our shared responsibility.

Happy New Year 2026.

May it be a year of hope, recovery and real change.

A year of faith in people and consistent work towards a barrier-free Ukraine.
