Events

Mykola Nadulichny, head of the Luhansk Association of Organisations of Persons with Disabilities, has become a member of the Barrier-Free Council at the Lviv Regional State Administration.

At the first constituent meeting, a regional action plan was approved for the implementation of the National Strategy for the Creation of a Barrier-Free Environment by 2030.

The involvement of a representative of the Luhansk Association of Organisations of Persons with Disabilities in the work of the Council is a significant step towards strengthening the role of civil society in shaping regional accessibility policy. It also highlights the importance of systematic dialogue between the authorities, experts and organisations that work directly with vulnerable groups of the population.
